Cucumber, Early Fortune OG Heirloom Chemical Free Non-hybrid- non GMO seeds
At Home Farm Herbery we only plant Heirloom Chemical Free Non-hybrid- non GMO seeds and we save these seeds each year. Often we have some extra and when that happens we are pleased to offer them to other health conscious gardeners and this year we have only 5 packages to sell.
Cucumber, Early Fortune AKA (Cucumis sativus) (aka Special Dark Green) was introduced around 1910 by the Jerome B. Rice Seed Company of Cambridge, New York. Originated with George Starr of Royal Oak, Michigan, who discovered it in a crop of Davis Perfect (now extinct). Fruits measure 8" long. 55-60 days.
Sow seeds outdoors in 12" diameter hills after the last frost when soil is warm. Space hills 6' apart in all directions. This cucumber can also be started indoors 2-4 weeks before the last frost for an earlier harvest. Cucumbers benefit from consistent moisture. Provide support for vines to save space.
When you sow this package of seeds you are taking part in the preservation of healing plants worldwide.
Approx. 25 seed sampler package $5.95
