Dakota Harvest�® Bakers has a passion for regional ingredients. We source 80% of our ingredients from local farmers and producers within 200 miles of our bakery. We use milk from the local dairy coop, honey from a farmer in a neighboring town, eggs from a local family farm, tomatoes from a local hydroponic farmer, pasta from Dakota Growers Pasta Plant (a ND farmers coop business), sugar from American Crystal (a farmers coop that raises sugar beets in the Red River Valley and manfuactures the sugar our town!), and flour from the North Dakota State Mill (the only state owned and operated mill that supports the local farmers). When we can't utilize local products we use fair trade coffee and organic fair trade tea and similar products whenever possible! We are always on the look out for other farmers to work with.
