Dancing Goat Creamery is a small award winning creamery in southwest Michigan. The operation is based on a delightful herd of alpine goats. The goats are milked once daily, and the milk is turned into fresh cheese daily. The milk is not held or transported. It is gently pasteurized and turned into fresh chevre. We also make a raw milk feta and a few mild ripened cheeses. The goats are milked once daily. The dairy is seasonal. The goats are not pushed for production in any way, and are kept on a completely natural cycle. Antibiotics are not used.
