Diamond B Sheep Farm is a small, family owned farm located in rural Arkansas. Our main focus is on wool producing sheep. We are more interested in beautiful handspinner's fleeces than pedigree!
July 2011 - We now have a beautiful crop of fiber lambs for sale! We have many breeds of ewe lambs, crossbred wethers, two full blood Shetland ram lambs, and one full blood Border Leicester ram lamb. Please see our farm's website to see pictures and prices!
Lori is an avid fiber artist, having an "etsy" shop under the business name of Sarah Kate Fibers, so raising wool sheep is a natural extension of my hobby. Currently we have Shetland, Border Leicester, Wensleydale, Cotswold, Shetland/Border Leicester cross, and Cotswold cross sheep. Our first group of lambs are here, and raw fleece is available after shearing. I process some of the raw wool into washed wool, hand made rovings, and handspun yarns.
We take great pride in having happy animals. They are fed bulk grain and hay, and are not injected with artificial growth hormones. Many are pets, and all have names.
In addition to the wool sheep, we also have hair sheep, Boer cross goats, beef and dairy cows, two miniature donkeys, and two guard (sort of) dogs.
