Have you ever wanted to pick the grapes to make your wine? Now you can! One hour south of the Twin Cities on the beautiful bluffs above Lake Pepin in Wisconsin is Domaine Da Vine Orchard & Vineyard. Jeff and Paula Soholt tend their vineyard of 700 cold hardy vines from Minnesota and New York. Wine varieties include Canadice, Edelweiss, Frontenac, Kay Gray, La Crescent, Marechal Foch, Marquette, Prairie Star, Sabrevois, St. Croix and St. Pepin. In addition we grow the wonderful cold hardy Blue Bell, Concord, Swenson Red and Valiant table and juice grapes.

Sustainably grown fruit orchards include over 40 varieties of heirloom apples, and 20 varieties of pears and plums. Hobby cider makers marvel at the rich selection of apples and liken the heirloom mixture to french cider quality. (more...)
