Downtown Elgin Harvest Market

"On the Fox...Farmers, Friends, Food & Fun!" In its fifteenth year the Harvest Market is a seasonal and weekly, outdoor farmers market. The market offers and encourages locally grown and sustainably produced food from area businesses who offer fresh, quality vegetables, fruits, bread, meat, spices, and knife sharpening services. The market continually provides an outlet for educational opportunities on sustainable practices and healthy living from local community oriented organizations and businesses. Additionally to supporting local artists the market cultivates a welcoming, accessible family-friendly, and entertaining public space atmosphere in Downtown Elgin. The market will accept Link and credit cards for its third year in a row.

Starting June 5, every Thursday from 9am - 2pm through October 2, 2014, at 200 North Grove Avenue in Downtown Elgin near the Gail Borden Public Library, The Centre of Elgin, and the Hemmens Cultural Center.
