Royal Velvet is an angustifolia which is a true lavender or English lavender that is commonly found in the western Mediterranean region. Royal Velvet can be used as an herbal medicine in the form of Lavender oil also used as a culinary herb, most commonly known in an herb blend called herbs de Provence. Royal Velvet is also a good lavender to dry and use in dried arrangements. Royal Velvet has a sweet fragrance.
