Dry Dock Farm is 3 acres of rich river bottom land, near the Village of Silex, We grow Heirloom vegetables( for their great flavor), herbs, flowers, bedding plants, We grow bio-intensive,(transitioning to Biodynamic) no pesticides, herbicides, no GMO seeds, or artificial fertilizers on our raised beds, We use cover crops, compost, natural minerals and worm castings to enrich our garden. We work with nature not against it. Our Heirloom tomatoes are bursting with that old time "picked from Grandma's garden flavor;. We raise Heritage chickens, turkeys, geese and assorted other poultry. Our birds are raised on pasture, with fresh air and sunshine, to provide you with the best tasting farm fresh eggs.(more...)
