The spicily scented basil is one of the most popular of all herbs in cooking. Leaves are especially good with tomato dishes, and are used fresh or dried.

Parsley Leaf has been used medicinally for millennia. The ancients used Parsley Leaf to treat gastrointestinal disorders such as flatulence. Parsley Leaf has also been used to stimulate menstruation. It has been shown to be a natural diuretic and helps to prevent the absorption of salt. It is said to be a key to good health - it comforts the stomach and cleanses the kidneys, spleen and intestines. Parsley Leaf contains a larger amount of Vitamin C per volume than citrus fruits.

For sore throats, try mixing a Sage tea with apple cider vinegar and salt for gargling. Sage is reported to have moisture-drying properties, and can be used as an antiperspirant. It can also be used as a compress on cuts and wounds. Clinical studies have also shown that it can lower blood sugar in cases of diabetes.

Thyme - a member of the mint family that's likely to adorn a garden or flavor soups and stews-is also good for healing.Commission E endorses thyme to treat the symptoms of whooping cough and bronchitis (it's not considered a cure).

We carefully select our produce varieties for excellent taste and quality. Our produce is grown without pesticides or herbicides resulting in highly nutritious food and healthy soil.
