Dunbar Gardens is a small farm west of Mount Vernon in the Skagit Valley that grows a variety of apples, vegetables, and herbs, but our specialty is basketry willow. Katherine Lewis is an accomplished willow basketmaker who weaves functional, durable and beautiful baskets for home and garden. She and her husband Steve Lospalluto grow selected varieties of willow which are cut annually, dried and sorted for use in basket weaving.
We sell our products at local farmers markets, craft shows, on farm, and by mail. Visit our website for information about our farmstand, current schedule, sales information, photos of Katherine's finished baskets, willow basket making classes, basketry willow cuttings and more.
