Dwarf Siberian Kale, as the name implies, originated in Russia. This is a very strong, easy to grow, tasty variety of heirloom, open-pollinated kale. The leaves of this variety are only slightly frilled, and are very high quality. The plants grow to a maximum height of 16", making them perfect for small spaces.
Dwarf Siberian Kale can be started indoors 6-8 weeks before the last frost date, and can be planted 2 weeks or so before the last frost date. Plant in well drained, well amended soil which receives at least 6 hours of sun light a day. Kale does best in cooler weather, so plant in early spring, and late summer for a fall crop.
Each pack contains minimum 25 fresh seed, naturally produced for fall 2013 / spring 2014 gardens.
Peacefully HomeGrown NEVER uses chemical pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers....only natural methods!!
NO pesticides, herbicides or unnatural chemical fertilizers have been used in the production of any product offered in my online store here at LocalHarvest.org
My seeds are harvested and cleaned by hand, and are fresh for the season specified. I never sell old seed. As a result of hand cleaning, there may be some small amount of "natural" material (chafe) included with your seeds, especially the tiny ones. Just plant it with your seeds!
All seeds & plants are produced using natural methods.
