We are starting our 5th year as "old-new farmers", growing 40+ varieties of garlic (both hard-neck and soft-neck garlics plus elephant garlic) to sell to our community, including the two Ark of Taste varieties (Inchelium Red and Lorz Italian) selected by Slow Food USA. We sell garlic scapes and our garlic bulbs at three local farmers' markets in addition to local chefs and food producers (such as The Brinery). We received the MAEAP verification in 2013 (Michigan Agriculture Environmental Awareness Program) and are pursuing USDA Organic Certification for our farm in 2014. In 2012 we started a very popular Garlic Friends CSA. Visit our farm's website to view information about 2014 CSA membership, descriptions of the garlic varieties we planted for 2014, and to sign up for our farm's Email newsletter. We also have bee hives and sell raw, chemical-free honey in glass jars when it is available plus happy chickens, selling eggs when they are available. Our CSA members may use their seasonal credit to purchase anything we have available to sell, including our honey and eggs.
New! We are pursuing USDA Organic Certification in 2014.
