Earth-Shares CSA

Earth-Shares, located in Loveland, OH, is now accepting new member registrations for the 2013 season! Please e-mail to ask for a registration form. Our season starts in mid to late May and runs 22-26 weeks.

Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a direct partnership between the farmers who grow the food and the people who eat it. This partnership guarantees the farm a supportive market for its produce, and shareholders are assured food that is fresh and not chemically or genetically altered.

Our CSA members buy a "share" for the year and pick up fresh, locally grown, USDA certified organic vegetables each week during the growing season. Based on prior years' experience, a household/group of 3-4 people can consume the typical volume of produce distributed (volume and items vary from year to year and through the season, of course!)

Some of our 115 shares include a work hour commitment during the growing season (and cost less), and can be purchased with approval of the member's application by our gardeners and Board. Workshares provide needed assistance to our full-time farmer in growing and harvesting the vegetables, and cost less than a standard share. We lease our land, which is USDA Certified Organic by the Ohio Ecological Food and Farm Association (OEFFA), from Grailville.
