Earthworker Farm sells garden-grown, diversified produce, notably heirloom tomatoes, arisan salad mixes, sprouts, and microgreens. All produce is sold within a 15 mile radius through farmers markets and local deliveries to regular customers.
Earthworker Farm is working towards increased sustainability and is dedicated to low-input growing methods and locally-adapted, heirloom varieties. This one-man operation is comprised of a handful of leased spaces, all under half an acre.
As a beginning farmer with minimal start-up capital who grows in an area where land is at a high premium, George hopes to demonstrate to other aspiring farmers the feasability of a successful farm business despite the lack of land ownership, heavy machinery, and major infrastructure.

We've been getting George's produce off and on for over a year now and we've always been impressed. Last year's butter lettuce was out-of-this world! This year's sun-dried Cherokee tomatoes are delightful! And the toothsome red and orange winter carrots never last long enough in our house.
