We operate a small farm southwest of Portland, Oregon. It was originally a hazelnut orchard, planted in the 1930s; we added sheep to the farm in 1986 and alpacas in 1993. Our sheep are bred to be all-around producers of fast growing lambs and medium wool for handspinners. Our alpacas are selected for fine fleece, correct conformation, and good temperament. We sell clean unwashed wool, alpaca fleece, and yarn from our national alpaca co-op. We sell by mail order - or you can visit and meet the animal who produced your fiber. Our freezer lamb has been raised naturally, with no added hormones or antibiotics. It is sold by the half or whole carcass and is cut to your order. I can help if you've never bought custom cut lamb. We enjoy inquiries from handcrafters, prospective breeders, and folks who are just curious. Visitors are always welcome.
