Epic Gardens, located near Bon Air, Virginia, is a local source for fresh vegetables, herbs, eggs (from part-time free-range chickens) and cut flowers. We also provide hands-on instruction in holistic gardening practices including soil building, integrated pest management, and growing food according to G.A.O.P. or generally accepted organic practices.
It's an Epic in the sense of being an unfolding story with some length, depth and charm. Each season brings different players, starting with neighbors who became friends. The terrain and resident critters have changed, and the gardeners have aged, but the spirit is still friendly and neighborly.
