Best known for its anti-viral actions, elderberry is useful in the winter flu season to ward off colds, influenza and other wintertime illnesses. This herb is very powerful and is used in the famous Sambuca formula yet gentle enough for children. We offer it in a glycerin base specially formulated for children.
We harvest elderberry during the summer by allowing the berries to fully ripen, which is when the herb is at its peak.
Our extracts are hand made, one batch at a time and allowed to steep for several weeks or longer to ensure a potent product.
