These large, succulent garlic bulbs are perfect for baking, and for a wide variety of culinary uses. Now available eating, or for planting next year's crop.

Each order consists of one very large (fist-sized) bulb. If using for seed, you should plant this fall (October is ideal) and harvest next June.

Although elephant garlic is technically a leek rather than a true garlic, many garlic lovers prize it for the mellower, sweeter taste. It's also convenient for easy processing for your pesto or sauce projects, and for "industrial-sized" chunks in mashed potatoes, etc. Wonderful sauteed with our chanterelle mushrooms!

Elephant garlic has all the health-giving properties of the true garlics. We add organic sulfur to the garlic beds, to enhance the natural antibiotic benefits of our garlics.

We have been growing garlic for over 20 years, and this year we have cultivated 30 heirloom varieties from all over the world.

YOU MAY WANT TO ORDER EARLY THIS YEAR, AS BAD WEATHER HAS CAUSED WIDESPREAD GARLIC CROP FAILURES.

Our garden seeds, yarns, and nuts make perfect gifts in synergy with our shared goals of environmental protection, sustainability, and food security.

Consider our wide range of heirloom vegetable, herb, and flower seeds as holiday gifts this year ~ grow your own and promote genetic diversity!
