The Emporia Farmers Market is a year-round marketplace for local producers of agricultural products and hand-crafted items. The mission of the EFM is to: 1) Provide a community gathering place where local farmers and vendors may offer fresh agricultural and related products;
2) Enhance the community's nutrition options with high quality seasonal produce;
3) Support area farmers and vendors in developing sustainable business opportunities;
4) Provide a vehicle to educate the community on the importance of nutrition to good health. and
5) Foster a sense of local pride and further the economic development of Downtown.
