Engelbert Farms, LLC is a certified organic dairy farm, also producing certified organic beef, pork, veal, cheese and butter. We have been farming organically since 1981 and have been certified since 1984. Engelbert Farms has been a family farm in the same location since 1911. We own around 600 acres and lease around 1200 - all certified organic. In 2009 we opened an organic farm store on our farm, and sell cuts of beef, pork, veal, cheeses, butter as well as products from other local farms. We also offer bulk beef and veal (not currently offering bulk pork), but must be preordered. Our hours are Friday and Saturday from 10 to 3, or by appointment. Our farm store is open all year.

Engelbert Farms is a true family farm, with 7 members of our family working on the farm. All of our products are certified organic by Vermont Organic Farmers. Our cows are raised on lush pastures throughout the grazing season. No antibiotics, hormones, synthetic wormers, genetically modified organisms (GMOs), or animal by products are ever given to our animals. We raise all of our own organic feed on the farm.
