Enota is a non-profit land trust and conservation facility that is surrounded by 750,000 acres of Chattahoochee National Forest and has never had any pesticides or chemicals used on it. Our organic garden and farm is used for demonstration and eduction. We offer daily farm tours at 4pm where participants can milk a cow and gather eggs. In season, we offer produce from the garden and eggs. The location offers some of the cleanest air and water available and is just a 20 minute hike from the Appalachian Trail (which can be reached from the property) and is a direct neighbor to Brasstown Bald Mountain, the highest mountain in Georgia. We have 4 waterfalls, 5 streams and a stocked trout ponds. We are certified organic and certified Appalachian Grown. Volunteer in-residence programs are available for aspiring farmers who are interested in sustainability.
