Erda Gardens and Learning Center

Erda Gardens and Learning Center is a nonprofit Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program located in the South Valley of Albuquerque, NM. Erda Gardens is Albuquerque's only all local biodynamic CSA and we have been providing delicious produce since 1996.

Our mission is to provide fresh, healthy produce in a manner that preserves and enhances local farmland, to build community through shared work, play, education and food, and to be an evolving model of sustainable agriculture that connects humans, wildlife and environment. We are primarily a volunteer-run organization and always welcome volunteers on the farm and support from the community.

We practice water-saving farming techniques and consistently share and save seeds which grow successfully in our hot, dry climate. We are dedicated to providing our community with local, healthful food, growing farmers, and uniting to nurture our physical and spiritual selves, as well as our home, the earth.

In 2013 we created a fund to secure our main plot, which we've been restoring and gardening since 2006. We your help to preserve this historic farmland in Albuquerque's South Valley; please visit our website for more details.

Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a shareholder, if you would like to volunteer, have fun in the garden at one or more of our regular "work parties" or donate to support local agriculture.
