On our Big Rock farm, we strive to work in harmony with the land, weather and blessings God has bestowed on us. In our operations, whether in the barn with the sheep, ponies or chickens, out in the pastures or in our heirloom gardens, we do things naturally. This means no herbicides, pesticides or conventional fertilizers.Instead, we use sustainable practices , and the soil is healthier, the products tastier and the environment safer.
We are proud to enter our second decade of farming. We are dedicated to our CSA Customers and do not go to farmers markets or wholesale the bounty.. it is all for our members!! If you yearn to experience a farm in a personal way, and desire to taste the freshness and flavor of all naturally grown farm products, we invite you to become a subsciber.
As a subsciber, you will receive a weekly box with a newsletter with recipes and preservation tips each week). This is why we go to great strides in reflecting the spirit, character and depth of an agrarian way of living in the relationship we cultivate with the subscribers. One way we enjoy this is by offering a Farm Tour, and canning, cheese making and sustainable farming classes!! .
Scott, Donna, Natasha and Eric Lehrer invite your to join our Subscription Service for the 2013 farm season and enjoy many varieties of award-winning heirloom and Ark of Taste (Slow Food) vegetable varieties.
Subscribers also have an opportunity to purchase wool products, goats milk soaps and hand lotions and lip balms created on the farm. Scott is also available to provide guidance for our Fertrell All Natural Fertilizer,Pesticide and Insecticide Dealership for all your lawn, garden, pet and household needs.
