Dear friends - We would like to invite you to our farm on Monday, June 25th for a tour of the farm and discussion about why and how we are transitioning our 87 acres of land to sustainable, organic production. This is an educational day: we want to be open about our ...farming practices, and we want you to have the opportunity to see how it works and ask any questions that you may have. You will be able see wheat, heirloom dry beans, soybeans, field corn, and sweet corn at various stages of maturity. In addition, you'll be able to examine the equipment we use and the restoration and biodiversity measures that are in progress.
Employees, family, and friends are welcome. Please just let us know how many to expect from your group, and whether you have any food allergies or special needs that we should consider while planning the day.
After the tour, as is our habit, we'll have tea and snacks to share.
