Belfast Indoor Farmers' Market
The Belfast Winter Farmers' Market takes place Fridays, from 9am-1pm, in the warmth of the greenhouse at Aubuchon Hardware, 231 Northport Ave (Route 1) in Belfast. There's an abundance of the season's harvest available with Peacemeal Farm (Dixmont), New Beat Farm (Knox), and Rolling Acres Farm (Monroe), all MOFGA-certified organic, selling local produce, including: salad greens, spinach, Swiss chard, kale, Brussels sprouts, carrots, parsnips, beets, potatoes, sweet potatoes, rutabagas, radishes, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, leeks, onions, garlic, shallots and a rich assortment of squashes.
There is, as always, a wonderful array of local cheeses, yogurt, breads and other baked goods, eggs, poultry, pork, lamb, beef, water buffalo, seafood, goat milk, preserves, chutneys, honey, maple syrup, blueberry tea, soaps, yarn, seasonal crafts, and more!
The remaining Winter Market dates are: Nov 16, 30, and Dec 7, 14, 21. There will be no Market the Friday after Thanksgiving.
