Learn to make quality compost and select and grow cover crops from Orin Martin, manager of the Alan Chadwick Garden, and Zoe Hitchner and Sky DeMuro of Everett Family Farm. Note: heavy rain cancels; rainout date is Saturday, April 13.

$30 general admission, $20 for Friends of the Farm and Garden members, $5 for current UCSC students. Pay at the gate with cash or check, or online at http://compost.bpt.me
