Fair Shares Combined CSA

Fair Shares is dedicated to helping more people gain access to fresh, local, seasonal, sustainably-produced food in the St. Louis area.

We think knowing where your food comes from is the first step in preparing safe, wholesome food for your family. We put together a weekly share of locally produced foods from a variety of farmers and producers to give shareholders a well-rounded example of our local bounty. We direct the focus to the farmers and producers so you'll know exactly who raised your grass-fed beef, grew your arugula, collected your eggs, made your cheese and baked your bread.

We give tips on storing your food and recipes to help you prepare each week's menu. Our website is a resource for members to learn more about the importance of supporting small, local food producers--and why not to support the industrial food chain. O (more...)
