We are a small family farm located in Eastern Wayne County. Four generations have farmed the land since 1907. We have approximately 30 Angus and Hereford beef cattle. We are committed to raising our cattle in a sustainable way and providing consumers in Northeast Ohio with quality local beef. Our cattle graze in pastures during the growing season. They are moved to the barn during the winter months and fed hay and grain grown on the farm. We received organic certification for our field crops in 2011 and aim to certify our beef in 2012. We strive to use land management practices beyond organic certification requirements and do not inject our cattle with growth hormones. Farm visits are welcome and we look forward to building relationships with consumers.

Schedule and Location:
We have 2 animals ready for processing in May. Please contact us if you are interesting in purchasing either a quarter or side of beef.
The price is by the hanging weight of the carcass which includes some bone and fat. Different cuts of meat come from different parts of the animal. Ground beef and roasts come from the front half and are priced at $2.80 per pound for the hanging weight. Premium cuts of steak, some roasts, and ground beef come from the hind half of the animal and are priced at $3.20 per pound for the hanging weight.
