Family Circle Centennial Farm

FCCF believes that everyone has the right to access fresh fruits and vegetables. We are committed to raising the highest quality produce through ecologically sound, sustainable and conscientious practices.

We have CSA shares available for 2014 starting NOW! Limited number of spaces left so contact us soon with requests. We are hosting a series of workshops this year from cheese making 101 to permaculture. Check back soon or check in with us to find out more details.

My great great grandfather bought this farm and passed it along to his son's family back in 1907. My great grandfather, my grandfather, and my own father have all worked this sacred land. Now it is my turn to bring it back to it's own roots by converting the 60 surrounding acres into an ecologically sound and sustainably practiced operation.

We will maintain roughly 7 acres of organic alfalfa (planted autumn of 2012) in an area that is slated for grain rotation in the future years. We have two CSA share sizes: Single and Family to suit your needs and will be selling at a few local farmers markets. We grow food year round in a passive solar hoop house and supply fresh greens, carrots, beets, radishes and herbs to a growing list serve of community members and restaurants!

We hope that if you have questions or are interested in ways to be part of Family Circle Farm that you contact us.

Cheers! The Griswolds

Spring?

We ordered a huge load of compost from Wakenhut Gartens to be delivered tomorrow! A good portion of that 10 yards will go toward starting all of our tender transplants.... [more]
