We have a no kill farm. Our chickens are humanely raised and used for their egg production. They are housed in winter to keep them warm because the Ameraucana Bantam is very sensitive to cold and rain. When it warms enough in Spring they are turned into chicken tractors and/or pasture with solar electrical fencing.
We also have a limited supply of Jumbo eggs from Jersey Giant and a light tan egg from Brown Red game chickens. The eggs are available now for pick-up at the farm and later for pick-up at the Farmers Markets in Yancey County and Mitchell County. They can be purchased in half-dozen or dozen cartons. They come in clear PET cartons.
