Farm Stand Marfa is in far west Texas, where the high desert, ranching, antelopes, Donald Judd and locally grown come together. In "Making the Farm Stand Marfa Scene," The Big Bend Sentinel says: "It's the epitome of a small-town gathering and what fun, ranchers mingling with the newcomers, the hipsters, as well as the Marfa weekenders." We're organic and conventional. Vegan and carnivorous. We've got tamales and fresh corn tortillas and salsas. We keep our dogs happy with Joni's Doggie Cookies. Mesquite jelly is a local speciality. Artists bring glassware made from recycled bottles, handmade soap, crewelwork, aprons and art objects. Our honey man has been robbing hives for 76 years. His sister brings her arrowhead and metate collection. Stop by Saturdays at 10am.
