Farmers' Market @ Billings Forge

The Farmers' Market @ Billings Forge, Hartford's largest market, was created in 2007 as a seasonal weekly market (April through October) who's aim is to provide the residents of Billings Forge with access to fresh, local food and to serve as a diverse meeting space from which to draw new people and life into the Frog Hollow neighborhood.

Our farmers and food artisans come from all over Connecticut to sell their fresh and delicious goods directly to the consumer. In addition to produce, fruits, and flowers we also feature excellent breads, dairy- including locally made ice cream, eggs, jams, pickles, soaps, and locally roasted coffees. This year, we will also be featuring products from our own on site garden!

The Farmers' Market at Billings Forge accepts EBT/Food Stamps, credit, and debit and doubles all WIC/EBT/Foodstamp amounts!

Come join us at our picnic tables for lunch, live music and a rotating array of local artists and craftspeople!

The layout of the market is very user friendly and they always have live music the best organic local produce around.

I love the Farmers' Market at Billings forge because of the great produce, breads, smoothies, fresh local foods and service. I make a special trip to go and check out what's new.

It is the best, a week day jewel, right by the state capitol. In addition to local farmers they have prepared food, and set up great picnic tables and encourage folks to stay.
