The Farmers' Market at Harvard is in its second year of operation, and all signs point to a great success! Sponsored by Harvard University Dining Services and located right on campus, the market has a loyal following, plus new customers every week. Fresh fruits, veggies, baked goods and specialty items are available throughout the season. Vendors enjoy a steady customer base and strong sales. Every week we have a cooking demo or sampling to inspire customers with ideas of how to use market produce. Chefs from Cambridge/Boston restaurants, especially ones with local purchasing philosophies, visit from 12:30-1:30pm. They have included Jody Adams of Rialto, Steve Johnson of Rendezvous, and Steven Brand of Upstairs on the Square.
