The cool nights and beautiful clear days are bringing in the harvest for the Market! Gardens are bursting with produce this time of year. Still lots of sweet corn, tomatoes and melons. Sweet peppers are turning rich fall colors. Garlic and onions are piled high. Time to store away the winter squash and freeze or can the last of the green beans and corn. Pumpkins are ready to be baked or carved. Fall Markets are some of the best times with all the abundance. Artisan cheese, farm-fresh eggs, grass-fed beef, pork and poultry, crisp apples, home-baked breads, cookies, pies, honey, maple syrup and hand-crafted soaps and lotions along with jams, jellies, and relishes fill the Market this time of year!
