Mt Lebanon Partnership farmers' market provides an opportunity to farmers in the region to sell what they produce directly to urban residents. The market helps support family farms, preserve farm land and open space, increases commerce in the region, increases interaction between residents and farmers, and enriches the quality of urban life. Farmers selling at the market grow or produce the crops and other farm products they sell or represent farms within the local area.
