The Northwest Detroit Farmers' Market operates every Thursday from 4PM till 8 PM during the months of June, July, August, September and October in the parking lot of the Bushnell Congregational Church. It regularly hosts nearly twenty vendors that sell locally grown produce, locallyl produced baked goods, antibiotic- and hormone-free meats, eggs, cheeses, and hand-blended teas. A variety of seasonal produce fresh from the fields is always available along with an assortment of other enticing homemade goods, such as cookies, 100% organic breads, pies, hand-blended teas and honey. We also have some flowers and bedding plants. Meats available include beef, pork, chicken, and lamb; we also have butter, eggs, and cheeses made from organic raw cow's milk.

New for the 2009 season, the Northwest Detroit Farmers' Market is now able to accept 'plastic' -- we can take credit or debit cards, as well as EBT/Bridge cards. A wooden token system will allow everyone to shop conveniently for the wonderful fresh food available at our market.
