HunkerDowns is a Green Grocery located in Madison, GA.
We are now into our third year in business and appreciate ALL of our customers! We were excited to be helping out with the Morgan County Conservancy "Ramble" dinner to be held this October by providing lots of locally grown goodies. This will be our first full year selling Johnston Family Farm Milk. It's produced, processed, and bottled right here in the county. This milk is low-heat pasteurized, which means all the good bacteria are not killed in the process. It is non-homogenized - so you have to shake it up before pouring a glass. This milk is so much better - and better for you - than any milk you can buy in a regular grocery store! We sell gallons and half gallon in whole milk. S

It's important to know where your food is coming from - we buy directly from the farms. Even more important than organic, by purchasing locally grown, you know the farm it's coming from. Help educate your kids about the importance and necessity of local farms and the different seasons of crops. Come experience a country store atmosphere with home-town service! HunkerDowns is a must see stop while visiting Madison. Locals make us their regular stop before heading to the grocery store!
