IT'S NATIONAL FARMERS' MARKET WEEK! So get out there and smooch a farmer!
A Farmers Market Thank You As a result of the kindness and personal generosity of Lou Agro, Joe Agro and Kathy Donovan, every Saturday morning a rectangle of asphalt in downtown Milford is transformed into a cheery and bustling farmers market. These three wonderful people work weekly mostly behind the scenes of this successful market generating no business or financial gain for themselves. Among numerous other tasks, the Agros generously donate the use of this property (for without it there would be no market); they work weekly clearing the site of overnight parkers, putting up signs and cordoning off the area both on very late nights and very early mornings.

APPLES ARE IN! And they are UNBELIEVABLE this year! They are crisp and sweet and juicy. It was a horrible year for tomatoes, as we all know, but the apples are to die for! Be sure and stop by the market on 9/19, as apples are now in abundance, for eating, baking, etc. DON'T MISS OUT. One bite, and you'll be in apple heaven.
