The Red Lodge Farmer's Market is a growing and fun local market held in Downtown Red Lodge, Montana every Saturday morning from mid July to early October. 2009 will be our 6th year providing local foods and agricultural crafts. Montana is a tough place in which to grow vegetables, but, we're blessed with a huge variation in climate and topography along the foothills and rivers emanating from the Greater Yellowstone. Hence, our produce is surprisingly varied and carries the extra tastiness associated with high altitude and/or xeric gardening! Join us for fantastic organic baked goods, fresh locally grown produce, fruits, herbs, preserves, & gourmet sauces. Additionally, a shopper can choose from Montana-grown bison, lamb, grass-fed Galloway beef, pork, and chicken as well as bratwurst, salami, and sausage.

Nestled against the Beartooth Plateau, plan to make a stop at the Red Lodge Farmer's Market before heading to Yellowstone National Park. Great-tasting picnic foods and spices, hand-made woolen items for those Montana summer snows, and fresh local produce and meats for home BBQ-ing.
