The Dallas Farmers Market is looking forward to the 2009 fall season with many new vendors and more fresh, local produce! The tomatoes, okra, corn, beans, melons, squashes, etc. are still very abundant, but, in the garden now are pumpkins, fall squashes, lettuces, turnips, collards, radishes, carrots, broccoli, apples, pears, and more! Come meet the folks who grow their own and where their produce has traveled less than 20 miles from farm to market. Our Market is not just a place to buy wonderful edibles, but, a place to connect with your community. The Market is also offering advice and soil sampling from the Master Gardeners; they will also sell you a rain collection barrel to go with your new garden!
The Dallas Farmers Market is held on Saturdays in the historic Downtown Dallas Courthouse Square area.
