Shreveport Farmers' Market will reopen on June 13, with an expanded market featuring more vendors than ever before. The market will take place on Saturdays, June 13 through September 5, from 7:00 a.m. to noon. On Tuesdays in the months of June and July, there will also be a Tuesday market from 3 to 6 each afternoon featuring live music. The market was originally to open May 30, but after a late freeze and wet fields, our farmers are running a bit behind this year. By June 13, the choices will be plentiful!

The market takes place under the East Pavilion in Festival Plaza, located at 101 Crockett Street, is covered, has ample on-site parking, and public restroom facilities. Dogs are welcome as long as they are attended, controlled and cleaned-up after. (more...)
