First, the news flash, the Acton-Boxborough Farmers Market (ABFM) will open for business this year!
Each Sunday from 10am till 1pm, July 12 through November 1, local farmers and vendors will congregate in the heart of West Acton on tree-lined Pearl St. to bring their produce and wares to an eager public. The market site is conveniently near Rt. 111, Rt. 2, and Rt. 495, and readily accessible to both vendors and the public.
Acton and Boxborough are communities with the demographics to support a thriving farmers market. Many residents are food savvy, environmentally conscious, and ready to know their farmers. Many others simply love good food! Over time, we expect the ABFM to draw people not only from Acton and Boxborough, but from neighboring towns, as well.
