This is the City of Knox's first year to move the Farmers Market to Sandy Acres Park, right on Hwy 35. This park has a shelter and LOTS of shade for shoppers and vendors. We have an abundance of Home Grown, Hand Made, and occasionally Non for Profits. The present set up has openings for 25 vendors. Regulars at this time are bringing Heirloom and Organically Grown Vegetables, Free Range Eggs, Jams & Jellies, Honey, Goat Milk Soap, Black Walnuts, Maple Syrup, Hemp Jewelry, Candles for Kids, more vegetables, berries, and an assortment of plants and crafts. Meets on Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. till Noon; from June thru Halloween. To sell the fee is $5.00 a week or a season pass is $50.
With a weeks notice, the radio covers what is showing up at the market...so if you know you're coming sign up early! Watch for special talks, classes, & craft sessions to be organized soon!
