The village of Sunsites, Arizona and its' rural, laidback lifestyle is a magnet for retirees to young families looking for fresh air, fabulous vistas, peace and quiet. You will find artists, horse lovers, stargazers, hikers, golfers, rocket scientists & wonderful home farmers! We are located in the very heart of Cochise County.
In 2008 a developer pulled out of town, which would eventually cause the collapse of Sunsites. The Sunsites Community Golf Association quickly formed and people from all around rallied and volunteered to save Shadow Mountain Golf Course. In our effort to pull the community together further the most natural idea blossomed... a Farmers Market! Now our local home farmers along with RichCrest Farms are having great fun with our Sunsites Farmers Market to be held every Saturday from 8 to Noon on the grassy lawn in front of the Shadow Mountain Golf Clubhouse.
