Our covered farmers market in downtown Battle Creek features locally grown and value added foods...seasonal vegetables, fruits, poultry, pork, beef, lamb, honey, field grown flowers, and baked goods. The market is organized and operated by the Battle Creek Farmers Market Association, established in 1980. Previous groups have operated a market in the downtown area since 1895. The market is located at Festival Market Square at the corner of McCamly and Jackson Streets, Downtown Battle Creek.
Our 2009 opening day is May 2. During the month of May the market is held on Saturday only. Beginning in June, the market is held on Wednesday and Saturday through the end of the season on October 31. Market hours are 9am until 1pm.
Parking is available in the Hamblin Avenue ramp and the first hour is free for market patrons!
