We, David and Donna Vogelpohl, opened the doors to the Peppermint Dragon in 1991 with virtually no knowledge of what herbs were or how to use them. But we could grow anything. Peppermint grows as a weed, dragons are good luck in the orient - so with the name in place we have been selling at the local Herb and Plant Markets in the Tulsa area, Jenks Farmer's Market and to local businesses in the Sapulpa, Jenks, Tulsa area. We are uncertified natural growers - the cost to certify organic is high in Oklahoma and I don't have time to deal with the paperwork with running 2 farmers markets and my own business. We have the prettiest tomatoes, peppers, plenty of herbs and a nice walking garden around the house.
