Meadow Run Farm is located in scenic Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, producing pastured chicken and turkey, grass-fed beef and lamb, and pastured pork from heritage breed pigs. Our agricultural practices emphasize sustainability, our foremost concern being to build natural soil fertility and health by enhancing the humus content in our fields. To this end we 'employ' our animals in harvesting grass and legumes.
The benefits from a grass-based diet to livestock health and happiness are well known, as are the health benefits to the consumer eating animals raised this way.
