If you cannot grow enough food for yourself and your family and would like to have someone grow your fresh food for you, you may be interested in joining our CSA (Community Supported Agriculture). Joining the CSA can seriously increase your fresh vegetable intake for you and your family. It makes eating veggies fun and delicious!
Every week we make a delivery to Rome, Chattanooga and Dalton loaded down with delicious vegetables. If you don't know how to cook fresh veggies, we sell a CSA cookbook full of ideas that will show you how to prepare all of our food deliciously and creatively! Occasionally we will send out our own newsletter with photos of the farm and our own favorite recipes. We offer a full share (for 2-4 people) and a half share (1-2 people). The 2009 CSA season runs for 30 weeks (half shares pick up every other week) starting April 27th for Chattanooga, April 28th for Dalton and April 30th for Rome. Farm CSA pickups are on Tuesdays and Fridays. The CSA will continue until the week before Thanksgiving in November. Two payment options are available: the full payment upfront or broken up into 3 payments. Full share annual costs are $750 or 3 payments of $260 due at registration, May 1st and July 1st. Half share annual costs are $425 or 3 payments of $155 with the same due dates. First or whole payments are due at the time of registration. We will continue to accept members throughout the season until we are full and will post a message on Local Harvest when we are full. Check out the specifics under the "CSA" section of this site. You may go ahead and send your checks for the payment option you prefer to our address or email us for further information. Be sure to include name, phone number, share option, drop off location and e-mail address with your check.
