Schultz Fruit Farm

Schultz Fruit Farm is a small family run farm growing tree fruit and vegetables, apples being our major crop. Our family has a history of farming in Chesterland, OH since the mid-1800's and has been at the current farm since the 1950's. We currently harvest about thirty varieties of apples and have another thirty or so new and antique varieties planted that have yet to bear and we continue to plant more. We also raise a variety of vegetables and a few peaches, plums and pears. Cole crops (broccoli, cauliflower, brussell sprouts, cabbage, and kohlrabi) are our vegetable specialty but we grow a wide variety of other vegetables. Our bearing apple varieties are: Lodi, Quinte, Jersey Mac, Duchess of Oldenburg, Paula Red, Wealthy, Molly Delicious, Burgundy, Gala, McIntosh, Honeycrisp, Cortland, Ozark Gold, Jonathan, Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Jonagold, Macoun, Empire, Melrose, Spygold, Holiday, Mutsu, Northern Spy, Ida Red, Rome Beauty, Staymen Winsap and have just begun to harvest our first Fujis and Baldwins.
