Broadrun Farms has been owned and operated by five generations of the Caldwell family for over 100 years. In 2002, we switched our conventional Holstein dairy operation to a grass-based, seasonal operation. We now have 100 Jerseys and Holstein X Jersey cattle in our milking herd. Our animals are on pasture 365 days a year. The transition to an intensive grazing operation has been beneficial to both the cows and the family.
We now offer raw milk sales. We also have pastured poultry, free-range layers, milk fed pigs and freezer beef. Please contact us for availability.
We are located just 30 miles northwest of Pittsburgh, PA. Farm visitors are welcome, please call ahead.
